Things could be worse this season.  Florida State was 13-0 last year in the regular season and saying they were too good for the ACC.  Florida State is 1-7 so far this year.

I think FSU is probably more confident of its ability to return to the upper echelons of college football in short order through transfers, etc. than we are.
