I predict the Cards (the home town ones) stumble onto the field as if having over-celebrated Senior Day.
The visiting Cards run off to a quick start while our secondary slips, slides, and moonwalks their way into being picked apart like roadkill offered to a flock of vultures.
After 21-0 at the half, and Coach TT waking up the team with smelling salts and a judicious use of a cattle prod in the locker room,
we come out second half and play them even-steven, each team scoring 2 TD's in second half.
In post game interview Coach touts how when we find ourselves, get it together, we can play with anyone.
No reporter courageous enough to ask how we keep losing our <stuff> in the first place.

As usual, I hope I'm proved ridiculously wrong.

Yeah, it's going to be a lot to a little and if the game starts out the way the SMU one did, I wouldn't be particularly surprised.
How TT puts a positive spin on the outcome is anyone's guess.

"We didn't make enough positive plays, simple as that. We got outplayed in all three phases of the game: offense, defense, and special teams. But we won the coin toss going away. We started Daniels at quarterback because we thought he gave us the best chance to win against Louisville, a great team. I thought that putting Elijah in there after we went down 28-0 midway through the first quarter would kickstart our O, but instead he got jolted on his first passing play when our 'Berlin Wall' blocking scheme broke down because of a bit of bad luck: three of our O linemen teamed up to pancake their left defensive end, leaving several unobstructed lanes for the other Louisville linemen. But we're clearly far better than last year; that was obvious even in the preseason. We really competed out there. We fought hard the whole 60 minutes and just came up a bit short, 56-7. But I really admire these guys and like their relentless fight. Yes, I went for it six times on 4th down deep in our own territory -- we've got great analytics from the CS Department -- and we got a first down once! I'm looking forward to major improvement the rest of the way and to getting a couple of Ws. The D played solid, only giving up six TDs on passes longer than 50 yards and the line was relentless in holding their not-so-vaunted running game to 9 yards per carry. Special teams were awesome pinning Louisville down to an average starting field position of our 28 yard line. My playcalling was excellent -- those 10 sneaks by Lamson for a total of 11 yard really confused them!--  and Louisville's extra point team was gassed running in and out by the end of the third quarter. Our superior physical conditioning was obvious. In short, our strategic game plan worked brilliantly and we played far better than poorly in all three phases in the last five minutes. Any questions?
