Lots of great comments made.
Re Nunu, yes, she was the heart of the offense last night, but her rebounding was also crucial. She's going to learn as the season goes on, and I think she's going to be a great one. I continue to be disappointed in Stevenson. Freshman of the year in the big 10? Hard to understand based on what I've seen so far. Maybe it's just getting used to a new system and new teammates. I hope so.
Re those who said Brooke had a solid game, yes, at times last night. But she was also the Brooke who could be confused at times. Ogden was solid, I think, but she was really hampered by the officiating, four fouls cut her playing time, and to me, several of those fouls looked very iffy.
Bottom line for game, it was a really ugly game, and one that, to me, just looked like the team was out of sync a lot of times. Some of the turnovers, just butterfiners and what??? Ooops. Where's the ball, of, it's over there . . . Really bad.
Still, it was a W, so at least there's that.
