Add Ashton Daniels to the list.

This is completely idle speculation on my part, but I wonder if he was told that Stanford is going to go after an incoming QB transfer. The biggest name that at least theoretically could be brought in is Miller Moss from SC. Moss, in his transfer announcement, thanked his senior thesis advisor, fwiw.

Most likely, I'm way off about Moss. But we'll see if Stanford brings in someone. I mean, Andrew Luck probably would be able to help with recruiting a QB, I would think.

Well, Moss supposedly wanted to come to Stanford in the first place but Shaw wasn't interested. Definitely a family connection with his mother a Stanford grad and his sister a Stanford student.
Not sure why Daniels would want to leave if he was assured of being the starter next year. I mean it's not like he could come into a top team and get the QB position.
Wonder if TT promised Brown the starters job next year to keep him out of the transfer pool.

In Taylor's comments about Bear, he said the he'd be joining early and competing for the starters spot. . . .
