Kal…had four incoming transfers for the OL, three of which were all-conference players. Cal then proceeded to have a very poor OL this year. Sometimes it doesn't work out.

I didn’t watch enough of Cal this year to judge their OL play, but despite having the same record as last year, the team seems much improved. 

Of their six losses, only the last game of the season was a blowout.  The rest were by one score, and they lost four games by a total of 9 points combined. 

I would have been thrilled to have that season.
