Not sure why Daniels would want to leave if he was assured of being the starter next year. I mean it's not like he could come into a top team and get the QB position.
Wonder if TT promised Brown the starters job next year to keep him out of the transfer pool.

I am virtually positive TT would not tell Daniels, or anybody else, they are "assured" of being a starter next year. Everybody will compete. Some guys, like Ayomanor are probably quite confident they will start. Anybody who believes that somebody "better" can't displace them is a fool. Daniels might not be willing to take the chance he wouldn't get to play this (his last) year.  Bachmeier and Brown might be too much competition to take a chance on. Add in a Moss type transfer, the odds go down even more.

Speaking of QB's I wonder whatever happened to Myles Jackson. He came in with as high a 247 rating as Bachmeier does. Yet he never gets mentioned as someone who might be in the mix of competition for playing time. I guess TT must not be very impressed with what he sees of him in practice. A little surprised he isn't hitting the transfer pool.
