Gotta wonder how AL sees Mendoza playing for Stanford. I wouldn't bet he (Luck) envisions a good fit. And he is now the Vetter-in-Chief, right?

He will be among the most sought after QB’s in the portal.  I would guess he is looking for three things - play in meaningful games, enhance the possibility of an NFL career and, of course, NIL cash.  Cal couldn’t meet all of those objectives and I don’t see Stanford meeting them either (at least during the next couple years while he is still eligible to play).

Yup - at least not until we fix the OL and play-call issues....

IMO the "play-call" issues become much less of an issue when you have an OL that can block. Kal couldn't give him what he thought he needed to impress the NFL. Stanford offers even less ATM. No way he would even consider coming here.
