SF signed 15 international players, including Josuar De Jesus Gonzalez, the #2 int’l prospect this year (Sasaki was #1). Gonzalez is a 17 year old shortstop from the DR. 

After the Luciano hoopla, I am reluctant to get too excited about int’l prospects (without any previous professional experience) but we can always hope….

Yeah, I should have included the bolded comment in my original post.  Re: Sasaki, I think every team in Major League Baseball would be excited to have him on their roster.
