FanGraphs' ZiPS projections for the Giants include:

- Regression from Willy Adames by 40% to 4.2 WAR, down from 32 HRs to 23, down from 112 RBIs to 83.
- Jung Hoo Lee will play 101 games, hit .280, 2.8 WAR
- Bailey will improve slightly, .235, 10 HRs, 4.2 fWAR
- Ramos and Fitzgerald continuing their breakouts, predicting that Fitz will be 4th most valuable Giant and Ramos 5th most valuable. 1.7 WAR in LF, 3.3 WAR for Fitz, 4.8 for Chappy, 1.3 for DH.
- Eldridge for 122 games and 16 home runs and .243/.303/.401/.704, with bad defense and 0 WAR.
- Villar will play 119 games with 1.9 WAR, lots of 1st base.
- Projects Yaz at 2.6 WAR, 1B at 1.9 overall WAR
- Logan Webb with 4.4 WAR, 3.22 ERA, 195 innings
- Expects Kyle Harrison to struggle with slight improvement to 4.21 ERA in 117.7 innings
- Erik Miller at 2.66 ERA.
- Thinks Tristan Beck is coming back.
