I'd hate to have to figure out which officiating crew has been the worst!

I heard a rumor that when the Pac 12 imploded the Pac 12 refs were reassigned to other conferences, and the SEC and Big 10 got first and second pick.  The ACC gets one former Pad 12 ref every other game, or 1/6 of its crew.  It got the Pac 12 refs that no one else wanted.  So if you see a familiar face, look out!

Didn't one of those refs look familiar?

Another question, to anyone who has been to a Virginia Tech game.  The announcers said it was "loud" and the box score says nearly 5000 fans attended.  But the TV shots showed 1/2 to 2/3 of the seats were empty.  Is the arena simply a big cavernous place where fans spread out?

I think the arena is cavernous and seats at least 10k. Shoutout to the maybe 7-8 total Stanford fans at the game. I think don’t think Mary Ashley Stevenson’s parents miss a game. They were behind the bench and it seems make it to every road game. Granted they live on the east coast but nice to see support for our team  in visiting arenas.
