I'm very happy for the great commit. 
But this was also my similar thought that tempers it a bit.

Certainly true but I would say with our most recent example of an early commit Swain (also a very athletic skilled guard), her “stock”/ranking has only risen over the past couple of years.  Maybe Guy becomes the unanimous #1 recruit in her class, that could happen too.

i certainly hope that her ranking rises, but, if i may tease, for every recruit that rises in ranking, there has to be one that drops in ranking. unfortunately, it's a zero-sum game. brooke, for example, was originally a top-5 recruit.
