Hjelle optioned.  Another indication that Birdsong gets the fifth spot and Roupp bullpen.  Harrison scratched from tonight’s start.  That isn’t good.

Keeping Roupp is somewhat of a surprise to me.  I think he would be better suited getting regular starts in Sacramento than periodic opportunities in SF.  

Harrison - based on the decreased velocity we have seen since last summer, it does seem like something is amiss.  If so, I hope they can finally identify the source of the problem and get him back on track.  There is no question that he has a big league arm when healthy.
