More fun with numbers. FanGraphis is not wild about the Giants' prospects for the rest of the season, projecting a total of 85 wins (five more than their prior projections).
Interestingly, they only project the Padres to have 86 total wins and the Diamondbacks to have 85 total wins. So in the eyes of FanGraphs, the NL West will be a dogfight for the three teams in between the Dodgers (96 projected wins) and Rockies (64 projected wins). Incidentally, the Giants were 6-7 against both the Padres and Diamondbacks last year.
Jung Hoo Lee has been exciting to watch. Six doubles of 12 hits, 10 runs scored (T5 in MLB), had a 400 foot flyout last night, playing great center field, three stolen bases no caught stealing, .333/.385/.500/.885.
