Before I picked up a roster to know who belonged to what numbers during the scrimmage time, I saw a QB fumble a shotgun snap, chase after it and pick it up, and then, just before a defensive player got to him, he threw it forward two handed in a sort of wounded duck fashion. It was not intercepted… but it caused an immediate series of painful flashbacks to a number of INTs witnessed during the past season. I then saw the jersey number was 47… which a later look at the roster card indicated was Bachmeier. I didn’t pay any attention to him otherwise, so the rest of his performance may have been sterling. But, well, just sayin’…
