During the Q&A, AL said they had a real QB competition on their hands, which I discounted as him just giving props to the QBs, but I have to say it was not at all clear who was best QB today, though you could make strong arguments for Brown, Bachmeier, OR Jackson.  On production/results alone, I think Bachmeier won the day.

Presumably, the coaches did not agree as Bachmeier hit the portal today.

Well, I did say on production/results alone. ;)  

I went to the event with my brother (as we both have since 1970) and he as arguing Jackson looked the most promising, all things considered.  Bachmeier's throwing motion looked a bit sidearm, so a bit less prototypical than the others.  Honestly, based on what I saw last weekend, I could see Brown, Backmeier, and Jackson ranked in any order and none would be all that surprising.

We have all heard the saying "If you can't decide between two QB's you don't have two first stringers you have two second stringers."
So if you can't decide between three, where does that leave you?
Of course, this was only one practice.
