Stanford can likely stick out the next 5 years while the industry determines the industry direction gets reimagined.
Will the top 20-30 schools blow off the House settlement, launching into an all out arms race which will be very expensive for them, pushing Stanford and most of the ACC and Big 12 into a 2nd level. Or will all the schools abide the by the House settlement, allowing more schools to be competitive and saving the top schools a ton of money.
