The thing about match play is that if we have another day like we did Friday, we could very well lose out.  It’s not enough to be the best team, you have to be the better team for three consecutive days, so running into a hot team or having an off day is enough to cost a national championship.

I think Stanford had a great day on Friday, but a very challenging start time.   I think it would be very interesting to see scores versus tee time for this course this weekend.

While some have talked about the "anything goes" nature of match play, it does mean that each hole is played by the competitors at the same time.
