I practically had a heart attack from the posts this morning.

Get ready for more of the same. This one will likely be tight. I think that Stanford's approach is to be cautious about going at the pin. Make a lot of pars and wait for the opponent to make mistakes. That worked this morning. Martin Sampedro won her match with a single birdie. Ortengren won with only 2 birdies. Ganne was all square in her match with only 2 birdies. All of this from a team that made the most birdies in the field (73) over the 4 stroke play rounds.

By the way, keep an eye out for fatigue, both mental and physical. Mis-hit irons that come up short and/or right. Missed short putts and unexpected 3 putts. On the other hand, a team that starts to make putts can really get a momentum boost.

All 10 players look really solid so far. Reflected in the match score - 3 all square, 1 up for FSU, 1 up for Stanford.
