The sun will have set in Hawaii more than a half hour before the game starts.

I must be missing something but the Hawaii game appears to start at 4:30 Pacific, 1:30 local in Hawaii. As near as I can tell, the sun will be quite visible both in the Bay Area as well as (even more so) in Hawaii. It will also be way too early to claim the sun has set on Stanford football even before the first game is played.
