It might help some around the edges.  At this point I think money is the only real answer to attract elite players at skill positions.

Until very recently I would have agreed with you in spades, but now I am not so sure. Money is important, but I now think if you can establish a culture and standards that appeal to top level talent, some of that talent is going to hear the old 40 year decision mantra and pay attention to it.  To be honest we have to give credit to our new University Administration and its willingness to hire Andrew Luck.  I have no idea how he managed it, but the vibe coming off the football program is so much better it is hard to grasp. This coming season will give us some idea.

In the latest Tree-Cast show Kate Paye was very complementary of the new University Administration (President and Provost) for their support of the WBB.
