For those (like me) who wondered what was going on with Brooke Seay in 2023 and 2024, this article will answer most of your questions.

As a junior in 2022, she was on the national championship team and won all 3 of her matches at NCAAs. But then she did not play for most of the spring of 2023 as she was recovering from an unspecified injury. And while she returned to Stanford for a 5th year in 2024, she did not play at all.
The short version of the story is that Seay suffered two concussions from quite random events at Stanford and is still not fully recovered. But she is back to playing competitive amateur golf.
She is in the hunt to qualify for match play at the US Amateur. As I type this, Seay is at even par (T43) with 5 holes to play. Low 64 players will advance to match play.
Among other Stanford golfers, Kelly Xu is at +1 with 5 holes to play. Megha Ganne (-1) and Rachel Heck (+3) tee off this afternoon for their 2nd rounds of stroke play.
