Now 2:0 goal Aikey - hey she was onsides for once today. Nice safe finish though to be fair. Kohler has been amazing today - she started the move by creating another turnover. Nifty work to get the ball to Kitahata as well for the hockey assist.
Now 3:0 Klinger finishes a deflected cross. That was a silly review, but they get it right. Clearly onsides both to Holden and by Klinger, but you didn’t need replay to see that.
3:1 USC. Our goalies badly need to work on foot skills, though that was more than just Jota at fault. Birkel had a punt earlier that was the worst soccer shank/hook I have ever seen.
4:1 and what the hell was that from Klinger? 40 yards out practically from the sideline into the very top left corner. Wow. Need to get that replay posted.
5:1 Thomas to Holden who deserved a goal tonight.
And another obvious card not shown against USC.
Finishes 5:1. This offense is scary. Harvey and Kohler were amazing today, and the amount of pressure the front 6 generates is just remarkable. The defense is better on offense then actual defense and was worrying today at times defensively, but it won’t matter much most games with this amount of offensive pressure. Not sure USC is #6, but they are still a very good team. Heck of a game overall for Stanford.
