Yeah, they were two outs away.  Plus they had a man on third with one out three times and couldn’t bring him home.

But also you have to give credit to Yamamoto.  Got the win in game six going 6 innings on 90 pitches, and then comes back to pitch three innings in game 7.  In a series where Ohtani was human, Yamamoto was on another level.

I’m just another bitter Giants fan. I don’t have to give any Dodgers credit!

Isiah Kiner- Falefa is taking a lot of heat. Unfortunately, some of it grossly over the top. But that was horrible base running. He got a short lead off third and he did nothing to extend it. (secondary lead) he then threw his coaches under the bus after the game saying essentially that’s what they told him to do. Which I highly doubt. He takes any kind of a secondary lead – just a step or two as the pitch is being thrown, he scores.

His was far from the only failure.  The sad thing is, they were so close to not only beating the Dodgers, but for Blake Snell being a losing pitcher in three World Series games. Which may have been a record. Snell is my second least favorite Ex-Giant of all time. Bobby Murcer  is easily number one. Murcer  once famously made the comment “I never played for the Giants.”  But actually, it’s Snell that should’ve made the comment. Because he never did play for the Giants. He played solely for a contract. The one happy thing I’ll take  out of the World Series is that he stunk.
