I think what it means is that Vitello wants to select his own roster of coaches.  After the last couple years, I am all for a clean sweep of the coaching group.  It is time for a fresh start.  

When I read that the platinum glove winner was selected on the basis of a fan vote along with some analytical influence, it lost all credibility to me.

Parks Harber is 24 and hasn’t played above Class A.  I don’t see him making the big leagues other than a cup of coffee somewhere.
