That ND match being officially a draw is probably why we're not the #1 overall seed. Ridiculous in my opinion.

For reasons I cannot quite put my finger on, I have assumed that Notre Dame is the overall #1 seed. 
However, I cannot find anything published on the internet that specifies overall seeding.
Have you seen something specific to that effect?
