So far, 8 ACC teams have advanced, with Notre Dame about to make it 9; while favored in most games, still impressive that the ACC is undefeated in the first round.

Stanford 3-1 over Cal Poly
Wake Forest 2-1 over South Carolina
Notre Dame up 2-0 in the second half against UIC
Florida State 4-0 over Stamford
North Carolina 3-1 over 3 seed Tennessee
Clemson 2-1 over Liberty
Duke 3-0 over Elon
Louisville 1-1 (won in PK) over Kentucky
Virginia 5-0 over High Point

Not many upsets this year in round 1 though there were a few additional close calls - Colorado, BYU for example.

Tennessee is the biggest loss though really not that surprising - see above. The real surprise for me is Lipscomb beating 6 seed MSU. The only other losing seed was Georgia and they were just an 8 seed and up against a big 10 team in OSU. Power conferences dominated as is typical, and you really don’t want an unseeded ACC or big 10 team as your opening game. The next round will really start to show though if the Big 10 and ACC are dominant again this year.
