Tavita should already be working on his first priority - retaining current players. Under the new NCAA rules, a player has a 15 day window to submit his name to the portal beginning 5 days after the announcement of a new coach. Stanford players can decide to transfer as soon as this Wednesday or Thursday through December 18 or 19. Or if they want, they can wait for the official window which is January 2-16.

he'll probably be on the red eye from DC to SFO after the Commandeers game.  His intro press conference is 10am PT on Tuesday.
