Quite frankly, I have always thought that guys who declare for the pros whether they are selected, or not, in a draft but never play in a professional game should be allowed to return to college to complete their eligibility.
Thierry Darlan, ex of NBA Academy in Africa, played two seasons for the Delaware Blue Coats in the NBA G-League. Averaged 11 ppg. Somehow, some way, SCU was allowed to recruit him. He's on the active roster.
