Odd that the article mentions his wife leaving him. Â That happened, according to the linked article, somewhere in 2002. Â The linked SI.com article also mentions that they had gotten back together after John worked to save the marriage. Â And since 2002, there\'s been no mention of major tragedy, iirc.

He\'s got at least one of his kids at Stanford; can\'t be that bad!
