From what I gather, the Warriors offered literally everything they could, and finished no better than third for Giannis. Apparently, the Bucks wanted young players rather than a slew of draft picks. Personally, I think they're out of their collective minds. Post-Curry, the Warriors are going to absolutely suck, for quite a while, and they will be a lottery pick for at least four of the next seven years after Curry retires. I'm glad they didn't get rid of their picks.
And I agree with both the Bucks and the Warriors' assessment of Kuminga and Podziemski. A family friend is a D3 head basketball coach, and he says that Kuminga has no basketball instincts except for around the basket scoring. Physical talent yes, mediocre shooter, plays defense when he feels like it. And Podziemski is exactly what his 19th overall pick suggests...a really good sixth man. He does well with backups, not so well with starters. Possibly the worst athlete in the NBA. I can see both why the Warriors wanted to trade the two of them and why the Bucks didn't want either of them.
If I were Dunleavy, I'd start from scratch. I'd get rid of everybody, build through the draft.
