This might have been played like an exhibition, I could only follow online and was confused by some of the substitutions.
Waseda kept us in check until the seventh inning but we put the hammer down. The following info is readily available about them:
In a loose sense, Waseda University could be considered the Stanford of Japan, although they have about 6 times as many undergrads as Stanford does. Maybe they're more like the Cal of Japan, although they're private like Stanford is. Their mascot IS a bear....... :-O
