Stanford earns the rare four-game sweep! This afternoon's final score was 15-6, although the game was called for some reason after UVU batted in the top of the eighth. No complaints here, as that prevented UVU from extending the 7-runs-allowed streak. /s

I know that UVU is not a premiere opponent, but it's been great to see Stanford bats come alive these past three games. At 10-12 Stanford is within sight of .500 overall. 

The bigger hole is in ACC play where Stanford is 1-5 and has given up the dreaded 7 runs in all 6 games.

Stanford next takes a spring break trip to Blackburg, VA to face Virginia Tech starting on Friday. Va Tech is 12-10 overall, 4-5 in the ACC. So if Stanford is going to make a run up the conference standings, it needs to start this weekend vs Va Tech and next weekend vs Clemson (currently 1-5 in conference).
