No Barry Zito, no 2012 World Series title - he was worth every penny of his contract just for that post season run.  Flags fly forever!

He had a great postseason run in 2012. Three starts, 16 innings, three earned runs (two in the NLDS), great start against St. Louis, great start against Detroit in the WS. 

Zito's ERA in 2012 (15-8) was the same as his ERA in 2010 when he went 9-14. Outside of his one winning season, Zito went 48-80,
