Alum Jeremy Guthrie had Good things to say about Sasaki.

Better than this yahoo who said Rintaro was 5th-8th round talent.

If I’m Seattle, I’m taking him much higher for his post-Ichiro buzz, but I totally would welcome him back for one more year of seasoning on the Farm.

I was wrong (not the first, or last, time). The “yahoo” could still be correct. But with the pick value around $550k or below, why not spend another year enjoying the Farm, getting closer to units needed for his diploma, and try to improve his slot? The added bonus is that teams tend to be more patient with higher picks, in general.
