From what I've been seeing and reading, it feels like we are finally starting to reverse that trend but it's been brutal to watch games the last few years and see what could have been.
I think Andrew and Tavita see this which is why player retention was critical last offseason. Stanford can't cast a wide net in the transfer portal so we need to retain as much talent as possible.
I think Andrew and Tavita's retention last offseason is way underrated. That never happens in college football these days when there is a coaching change.
Retention + contributing freshmen (but catch the ball!!) + sneaky good QB transfer + promising offensive scheme through two games...
Way too early to judge but some real signs of optimism early.
Agree. I think next 3 games are going to be especially indicative of how team going. As a fan outside the locker room, feels like need a win in at least one to keep some optimism up.
