For the BCS, both computer- and voter-wise, it's better to beat a cupcake than to lose against a powerhouse.

Stanford: A.  SJSU, Army, ND
Under Stanford Control: B+. Hawaii, BC, Utah State, ND

Hum, this was also discussed after Wilner's SOS ranking.
U.SC's schedule seems harder to me, having ND at South Bend, and Utah State being somewhat better than SJSU (they both lost their coaches, and Utah St beat SJSU by 22 points last year).
Hawaii-BC also seems to be somewhat harder than lowly Army.

At least U.SC SOS should be equal to Stanford's, in my opinion.

That said, I like the Pac's OOC. It's not excessively tough, but is hard enough that we could reap some respect if we do well.
