As always great stuff there Hank.
My favorite quote from one of the SC commenters on your reply to them.
Be honest, 10 years ago, even 5, did you ever think you would here an $C fan give Stanford credit for having athletes?
My favorite quote from one of the SC commenters on your reply to them.
Quote:Kessler will have to have his best game and be nimble, the right game plan and preparation will win it; both teams have the athletes

Heroism is not defined by one great act, but by a lifetime of right action.

good to see the hubris of Troy still lives:Â "(USC) as the nation's most appealing job"
Larry Smith, Paul Hackett, Cheatin' Pete, Lane Kiffin, Ed Orgeron, Steve Sarkisian and Clay Helton. quite a lineup of coaching hires at "the nation's most appealing job"

Well, they did pick us to win. That's something for the hubris file.
In 1938 Neville Chamberlain declared "Peace in our time", Superman first appeared in Action Comics, Seabiscuit beat War Admiral ....... and C.a.l last won the Rose Bowl.

I had that exact reaction. That, and I was a bit shocked that there are Troy fans who are willing to utter it, even if it's true.

The quote from the Toejam troll that made me laugh more than any other: "Kessler is a very capable game manager type quarterback much like Kevin Hogan is."
This inane comment does not even merit a response.

I don't actually know if we have the athletes on defense. We certainly were exposed by elite speed in crossing routes and lack of parties in the backfield earlier this season. But hey, maybe I'm just a born anti-woofer...
