Acoustic design aside (not sure how that impacts Autzen or Rice-Eccles, but I've heard, for example, that it impacts Husky Stadium fairly significantly), these are known for being relatively loud for their size and the "% of capacity" tends to support the notion that the fans are enthusiastic about being there and cheering on their team (presumably the "extras" are standing room only).

Agreed. I also think that Stanford alumni and perhaps the typical potential Stanford fan in Northern California are more intelligent than a typical football fan and thus chooses more variety in his/her entertainment. Most football fans are meatheads. Present company excluded . . . maybe.

The 6,000 KSU fans may insult Stanford and its fan base, but the ones making the roadie sure will enjoy spectacular weather!  Even they will have to concede that the climate on the Peninsula is pretty darn sweet, especially when compared to temps and humidity in other parts of the country.

Here's hoping all the Wildcat fans making the trip enjoy everything about it . . . except the game itself!
