Who in the hell scheduled playing at SDSU the week after at USC in the first place? USC was insane enough to play Texas following the emotional Stanford game, but at least the game was at home. Still, they were flat and needed some serious good fortune to escape without a loss.
Meanwhile, Stanford scheduled a quality team on the road after an emotional game at USC? WTF? There is a reason Alabama plays Chatanooga the week after LSU. Had Stanford at least played SDSU at home, they likely win, but why play SDSU at all? Why not Idaho or New Mexico State? Or any of the middling FBS schools not from Power 5 conferences. You know, like San Jose State for example? If you're going to play at SDSU, why the hell not SJSU? Maybe I can justify SDSU in Game 1, but after at USC? Sheer lunacy.
