Actually with current warped system we might be OK in 2018
- We start the Season with three cupcakes all at Home:  SDST, U$C (sans Darnold), and UCDavis. 
Troyens will be training rookies Matt Fink or John Sears at QB.  Not ready by second game. 
Ron Jones likely goes NFL; Stephen Carr comes back as their lead hod carrier. 

Sure, @OREG, @NDAM are tougher, but they are not during rainy / snow season -- both in lovely Sept.
The Thurs game @AZST is after a BYE.  Will take that.
No Nov trip for sleet in Pullman.  No trip to altitude in SLC either.  Buffs are off the menu; ditto Zona.
Happy to play in Rose Bowl rather than Coliseum Ghetto.  Rose Bowl = Home Game for us.
The tough one is clearly in Seattle Nov 3.  But, OK, we could be in decent shape by then. Huskies lose seniors.

If Love returns that changes the Outlook a lot.  Love changes everything.  We get ranked in Top Ten.  OLine should be solid.
Then we want the current system to WORK FOR US.  The current system is slanted toward the Aristocracy. 
Lesson:  Be in the Aristocracy.
