<p>Doesn't Stanford have enough money to build some sort of awning for the stadium? It would obviously require some tweaks to lighting, but seems something needs to be done.</p>

Lots of Northwestern fans sat around us during the first half. By halftime, the stands had cleared with the hillside outside flooded with exhausted purple and white. Most of these did not return,but, inasmuch as there is difficulty reaching the concourse from there, I doubt if most of them made it down there. We spent the latter part of the last quarter screaming from the concourse during the thrilling last few minutes.</p><p><br></p><p>Anyone who did not think it was hot in the Wok yesterday must be a desert dweller.</p><p><br></p><p>Which begs the question, why not go independent?
