I've always wondered about Tavita's ability as an offensive coordinator. After the on-screen graphics showed Graham Harrell's effect on the various offensive metrics at his previous jobs, I'm really wondering if Shaw has the best man for the job. Someone said that maybe keeping Tavita's legacy and preserving the brand might be worth any shortcomings. I'm not sure.
Also, if Mills was this bad, consider that Jack West did not sniff the field. Is Stanford actually developing any QBs? Or are the coaches just going to rely on recruiting mostly-baked QBs who only need finishing touches? I'm just surprised that a nationally-touted QB recruit could end up looking like this after at least two years in a college system.
