I don't think I'm going out on a of immense proportions limb when I say that I really hope Shaw hires Mason again...if Mason will come.
good g-2. also, fwiw, Harbaugh hired Mason. not sure if a vocal, independent assistant is really keeping with the Shaw hiring pattern. likely a first if it were to occur.
Note, Harbaugh hired Mason as DB coach, but Shaw made him the co-DC (with Tarver) and Assistant HC, and made him the sole HC when Tarver left. That doesn't exactly fit with avoiding vocal, independent assistants who might be in a position to challenge. By the way, Mason hired Tarver to be DC and Vandy, so he may be available as well.
