Couldn't agree more. No team I've hated more for the past 15+ years than Bama's men's bball. Nothing will fully avenge that atrocity, but this sure felt redemptive.
When Dan Grunfeld's shot at the buzzer clanged into the front iron, I crumpled up in a heap on the floor of the Old Pro, screaming, "THAT DID NOT JUST ******* HAPPEN!!!" There was a table of Syracuse fans right next to me. They looked down and laughed. Little did they know that the elephants would flatten them, too....
It was also a good couple of years before I could listen to the song "Sweet Home Alabama" without snapping. Made some parties tricky.
