Oregon pauses MBB

I think the Ducks at 9-3 are still one game shy of the minimum (13) required for eligibility for the NCAA tournament. However, by my count, if they can avoid any more postponements/cancellations they'll get to 21 games plus the Pac-12 tournament. There's a week between their penultimate and final regular season game, so maybe they can squeeze in a makeup game.
But looking at the games that have been postponed--UCLA x 2, @USC, @UA--there are four missed opportunities for Quadrant 1 wins (or losses).

If there's one thing people have learned in Berkeley, it's that you can't put "Cal football" and "Rose Bowl" in the same sentence. The words just don't fit. You'd be better off linking "covered wagons" with "Mars travel." (Bruce Jenkins, Cal '70, SF Chronicle, Nov. 11, 2017)
