After watching Oregon State and South Carolina, I don't think South Carolina is a bad matchup for us. 

Rueck gave somewhat of a blueprint for stopping South Carolina defensively - sagging off heavily on a few of their players and forcing them to shoot threes, just not enough offense or post play with Taylor Jones being out so long.

Brink vs. Boston would be a fun matchup -- I could see Brink getting a lot of layups running the floor.

Oregon and Georgia should be a good one today. I'm not quite sure Oregon has the ball handlers without Pao Pao, but we shall see.

Louisville seemed to have woken up in the second half; they outscored NW 42-21 in the second half, to overcome a 32-20 halftime deficit.  NW had a 40 - 28 lead in the third quarter, and Louisville went on a 15-0 run that doomed the Wildcats.

In watching South Carolina I was not unduly impressed with their offense, but they were able to turn up their defense and win with that.

The same was true with Louisville.  They looked pretty bad against Northwestern, but they turned up their defense and held NW to 7, 8, and 13 points per quarter in the last three quarters.

Defense is reliable even if hot shooting is not.  Those two look like strong defensive teams.  So is Baylor.  Strong defensive teams worry me since our offense is a "rhythm" offense which can be disrupted, as it was last night. 

For some reason Maryland does not scare me as much--I think our defense will be good enough to slow them down, and their defense won't be as big of a threat to our offense.
