I think it was a foul but I also think that it was not a great play, going into a tall double team like that, and that given how the game was called that probably was not going to be called right there. It looked much less obvious in real time. Baylor was at their best when they could out-physical teams. They are, I guess now were, not a great outside shooting team. The refs gave them the style game they wanted and they took full advantage for much of the game. Losing Richards killed them. A shame given her situation with the injury and recovery. As for Carrington, it was a great and terrible game all at once. She imposed herself to the good but she ended up 7-22 I think it was, with lots of FTs for much of her scoring. Live by the refs, die by the refs. She will make a good pro because of how physical she can play. I bet she gets drafted. I hate Baylor with a passion so I was rooting for UConn, and I hate to do that so I am kinda grumpy about that game.
