A team needs some luck to win a national championship and a school needs some luck to have a 40+ year streak of them. We’ll see on Sunday whether Stanford can take advantage of this lucky break.

I'm not sure that inbounding to Brink was the play we wanted. Even if she hadn't turned it over, she's a .650 free throw shooter. I mean, you probably want Brink inbounding, and Williams, Wilson, Lexie (Lacie is a surprisingly bad free throw shooter), and Jones available to get it; they are our best free throw shooters.

I got back from my procedure in time for the second half, with the sedatives still active in my body. Thank goodness. I have never enjoyed a 1 point victory as much as today :)

I don't know yet how rebounds worked out, but I'm surely glad there was a rebound at about 1 second to go, even if it was Boston that got it.

We were fairly even with them in rebounding (they got only 4 more). We only got 5 threes (shot 8), and, most importantly, we held them to under 70. To me, this was the key to beating them.

These clowns on ESPN- especially Rebecca Lobo- have no clue about our layup problems. Boston had nothing to do with them. We’ve been missing those all year. The only difference tonight was we had to take a lot more of them because nothing else was working too well either...
