Disagree. He had offers from all the big boys and turned them down to come to Stanford. (He's an outstanding student).
The way we lose him, IMO, is make him sit on the bench for a year. TT needs to find a way to get him on the field immediately.

And give him good OLine, Receivers, and Running backs. Of course can always improve in every room but I think the Receivers and Running backs will be Ok. It’s the OLine I think our weakest link. I hope Coach TT & Co can retain all the non graduating OLine into next year, gain the committed recruits, and work a miraculous transfer in or two. I hope…

Why? Who's in charge at MSU that impresses so much? If it was Iowa I'd be in lock-step agreement. As good a TE lineage there as Stanford and Notre Dame.

Not sure I can name a former MSU TE of note in the NFL. Tyler Conklin of the Jets is the only one that registers for me.
