I had same reaction to Ducks burning timeouts to avoid DOG penalty.  And btw, the head coach looked pissed!

But here's the big difference b/w Stanford doing it and Oregon doing it:  after two of those timeouts by Oregon, they set up a play which so concerned tOSU that they burned two timeouts.  And oh yeah, after those timeouts, they converted big plays for first downs.

So yeah, Oregon's offense should not be foreced to burn TOs to run their offense; but otoh, it often seemed "worth it." Wish I could say the same thing when Stanford does it . . .
